The Colchester Land Trust received a $95,000 grant from the State of Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection for the acquisition of the Airline Trail Gateway Property.

The Colchester Land Trust received two $20,000 grants from the Bafflin Foundation, the second of which went directly toward the purchase of the Gateway property. The Bafflin Foundation is located in Providence, RI and they fund open space acquisition in Southern New England. The first grant was specifically designated for land acquisition and will be placed in our Land Acquisition Fund. Many thanks to Chuck Toal for his time and effort in putting together a fantastic grant to this foundation.
